is a fascinating state. We have a wide variety of outdoor activities.
Just to name a few are water skiing, camping, hiking, skiing, boating
and 4 wheeling.

I was to drive 20 miles in any direction from my home I could either be in the
mountains or on the desert.

Utah has so many beautiful places that
it hard to contain a few pictures on one page. In 2005 I felt the need

Animals
Utah
has a large variety of wild life. The Yellowstone Wolves are also found
in the mountains of northern Utah.

So
far its only a couple pictures of eagles, but I'll work on it this
year.

Utah
is covered with Indian writings. We have Petroglyphs and Pictographs in
many of our canyons. Some are from the Fremont Indians, but many are as
old as the Anasazi.

Gorge is located in the northeast corner of the State. The lake is great
for fishing and water skiing.

National Park is located in south central Utah.

took a little drive up Diamond Fork near Spanish Fork. The drive was
beautiful.

Mile Canyon
Nine
Mile canyon is really nine mile long, its more like 40. Its located east
of Wellington, Utah. Over 800 sites have been found containing ancient
Indian relics.

mile is less than 40 miles from my home. Its an amazing place to
explore. Each time I go there I find new writing and ruins.

Arches
National Park is located near Moab, Utah. The park has over 3,000 arch
formations.

Arches National Park is my favorite
place to go in Utah to go camping. Devils Garden is a pretty rough area
to go hiking in. Take lots of water.

I purchased a new camera and I had to
try it out. For East this year we went to Arches. Its real close to my
home here in Utah.

While we were there this year it
snowed several inches. I thought Arches National Park was a beautiful
before, but with a little snow it became one of the grandest
places on the earth.

Monument
Valley was beautiful. its the only National Park maintained by an Indian
Tribe. I took the tour, but even without there is quite q bit to see.
San
Rafael Canoe Trip 2006
In
May of 2006 I decided to do something different. I went canoeing with
some friends on the San Rafael River. It was fun, but very challenging.
Nine
Mile 2008
Once
again we took a short trip to one of our closest and favorite places.
Today we found quite a few ruins that we had overlooked before. It
amazing how they still blend into the environment. The canyon is
beautiful, and well worth the trip.
